ILOILO City – He was listed as the No. 3 most wanted person in the municipal police station of Cabatuan, Iloilo.
Benjie Teruel, 28, of Barangay Tabucan, Cabatuan was arrested in his residence on the strength of an arrest warrant around 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 1, police said.
According to the police, Teruel – who faces murder charges – had been hiding from them for almost 11 years.
He was detained in the lockup cell of the Cabatuan police station./PN
