BACOLOD City – Separate antidrug operations led to the arrest of two suspected pushers in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
The suspects were identified as the 36-year-old Roem Pabalan of Purok Kaisdaan, Barangay Daga and the 28-year-old Engilbert Quiachon of Granville Subdivision also in Barangay Daga, a police report showed.
A team of Cadiz City police arrested Pabalan at around 5 p.m. on Thursday at Villa Barilea, Barangay Zone 2.
Recovered from his possession were three sachets of suspected shabu and P500 marked money, police said.
Quiachon, on the other hand, was caught about 10 minutes after Pabalan’s arrest. He was arrested at his residence.
Police confiscated from Quiachon 11 sachets of suspected shabu and P500 marked money.
Pabalan and Quiachon were detained at the Cadiz City police station lockup facility.
They were facing charge for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
