BACOLOD City – An employee of the local government unit in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Dhee Jay Franco, 37, was caught in an antidrug operation on Tonggoy Street in the city’s Barangay Zone 5, a police report showed.
Prior to his apprehension, Franco – a resident of the village – allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P500.
Two more sachets of the prohibited substance were seized during Franco’s arrest around 3:10 p.m. on Dec. 9.
The suspect was brought to the Cadiz City police station where he was detained./PN
