BACOLOD City – Charged with murder, a man was arrested in Barangay Caduhaan, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
The 37-year-old resident Elmer Canillada was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, a police report showed.
Police officers served the warrant issued by Judge Fernando Elumba of the Regional Trial Court Branch 61 in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental dated Sept. 11, 2014.
The suspect was detained in the Cadiz City police station’s custodial facility.
No bail bond was recommended for Canillada’s temporary liberty./PN
