BACOLOD City – He was crossing the road when a cargo truck hit him.
Resident Armando Garing, 58, was killed in a road crash in Barangay Tapi, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
He sustained head and body injuries after the cargo truck driven by 68-year-old Dioscoro Eno of Barangay Pingot, Ilog, Negros Occidental hit him around 7 p.m. on Sunday, police said.
Garing was brought to the Kabankalan City Hospital where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Officers of the Kabankalan City police station conducted a manhunt operation against Eno, who fled after the incident./PN
