ILOILO City – A car theft suspect was arrested in Barangay Tastasan, Buenavista, Guimaras.
Efren Cabanda, a resident of the village, was nabbed around 12 p.m. on Tuesday, police said.
Cabanda’s apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Daniel Antonio Gerardo Amular of the Regional Trial Court Branch 35 in relation to carnapping charge faces.
Cabanda was detained in the lockup cell of the Buenavista police station.
The court recommended an P18,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
