Sales rep, driver held up in Banago

BACOLOD City – Cash amounting to P99,936 and some items were lost to robbers riding in tandem at Pueblo Portobello Subdivision in Barangay Banago, a police report showed.

The 30-year-old sales representative Kreenia Gayoso of Barangay Tangub and the 23-year-old driver Phemor Gonzaga of Barangay Bata – both working for the Bacolod Columbia Marketing, Inc. – were held up around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, the report further stated.

Gayoso and Gonzaga were inside a moving van when two men, on board a black motorcycle, waylaid them.

The robbers carted away a bag containing the cash, identification cards and cellular phones, Gayoso and Gonzaga told the officers at Police Station 3.

Police were still identifying and locating the suspects./PN
