Cebu Pacific boosts international frequencies

Cebu Pacific increases the frequency of some of its international routes to cater to travelers planning vacations this yuletide season.

CEBU Pacific has increased the frequency of selected international routes to cater to travelers planning vacations this yuletide season and toward early 2019.

From five times weekly, Cebu Pacific now flies daily between Manila to Sydney and Hanoi. The carrier has also increased frequency between Manila and Fukuoka from thrice weekly to seven times a week.

International flight frequencies from its hub in the Mactan-Cebu International Airport have also been increased. From four times weekly, CEB now flies daily between Cebu and Narita; and ten times a week to and from Hong Kong, from just seven times.

CEB has also increased frequency to and from the Macau Special Administrative Region, launching a four-times-a-week, direct commercial service from Cebu, on top of a seven-times-weekly service from the Clark International Airport.

CEB has flown over 15 million passengers from January to September 2018 to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations, across over 107 routes spanning Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and USA.

Cebu Air Inc., operating as Cebu Pacific, is the largest carrier in the Philippine air transportation industry, offering its low-cost services to more destinations and routes with higher flight frequency within the Philippines than any other airline.

CEB boasts of one of the youngest fleets in the world, with a total of 69 aircraft with an average age of 5.01 years.

The CEB fleet is comprised of 36 Airbus A320, six Airbus A321CEO (Current Engine Option), and eight Airbus A330; while the Cebgo fleet is composed of eight ATR 72-500, and 11 ATR 72-600 aircraft. Between 2017 and 2022, CEB expects delivery of two more A321 CEO, six ATR 72-600, and 32 Airbus A321NEO (New Engine Option) aircraft.

Cebu Pacific has achieved full compliance with the International Air Transport Association Operational Safety Audit – considered as the accreditation with the highest standards for safety in the airline industry, joining a roster of 429 airlines worldwide that have strictly complied with the most stringent of international standards governing aviation safety.
