BACOLOD City – A resident of Barangay Patun-an, Calatrava, Negros Occidental had been wanted in the province of Masbate.
Romeo Tacyan, 47, was charged with estafa, police said.
The suspect was arrested in Barangay Lo-ok, Calatrava around 7:30 p.m. on July 11.
According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Rollie Pondevilla, police station officer-in-charge, Tacyan had two arrest warrants for estafa in Masbate. These were issued by:
* Judge Renante Bacolod of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court (Manda-on, Masbate) dated Feb. 24, 2020 with P18,000 bail bond; and
* Judge Arnelo C. Mesa of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 47 in Masbate dated June 19, 2018 with P40,000 bail bond
The suspect was temporarily detained at the Calatrava police station./PN
