BACOLOD City – An illegal drug suspect was arrested at a checkpoint in Barangay Bantayanon, Calatrava, Negros Occidental.
Diosdado Cogonon, 55, was No. 13 in the Calatrava police’s watch list of drug personalities.
He was also charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act and had a pending arrest warrant.
The resident of Barangay Suba, Calatrava yielded a plastic pack of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia.
Police also impounded his Rusi motorcycle around 11 a.m. on Jan. 30, said Chief Inspector John Joel Batusbatusan./PN
