ILOILO City – Eduardo Baylon has been wanted for a child abuse charge.
Police arrested him on Washington Street in Barangay Benedicto, Jaro district.
Baylon was charged with violation of Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
Officers served him a warrant of arrest at around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, a police report showed.
The court set the bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty at P80,000.
Baylon was detained in the lockup cell of the Jaro police station./PN
