ILOILO City – Charged with domestic violence, a Chinese businessman was arrested while hiding in Barangay 9, Tigbauan, Iloilo.
He was identified as 33-year-old Yaozong Lim of Barangay Bontoc, Southern Leyte, a police report showed.
Armed with an arrest warrant, officers of the Tigbauan police station caught the suspect around 11:20 a.m. on Oct. 9.
Lim was detained in the custodial facility of the municipal police station and set to be transferred to the police station in Southern Leyte.
The court recommended a P24,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
