ROXAS City – A voter’s registration for qualified residents is being conducted by the Commission on Election (Comelec) from July 11 to 14 at the SM City Roxas Event Center along Arnaldo Boulevard here.
The four-day satellite voter’s registration at the mall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. is part of the ongoing voter’s registration from July 4 to 23, 2022 in view of the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections on Dec. 5, 2022.
Apart from registration, the voters’ registration satellite will also entertain change/correction of entries in the voters’ registration record, transfer, reactivation, inclusion, and reinstatement.
SK voters must be at least 15 but not more than 30 years of age and residing in their barangay at least six months on or before Dec. 5.
Regular voters must be at least 18 years of age on or before the day of elections and residing in the Philippines for one year and wherein he/she proposes to vote at least six months immediately preceding the Dec. 5 polls.
For new registration, transfer and reactivation, concerned residents are required to bring any of the following identification cards:
* National ID
* Student ID
* Employee ID
* SSS/GSIS ID
* Postal ID
* Passport
* Driver’s License
* Barangay ID
* NBI Clearance or any other valid ID. (PIA Capiz/PN)
