BACOLOD City – An ad hoc committee has been formed to scrutinize the Bacolod Real Estate Development Corporation’s (Bredco) comprehensive revised reclamation agreement and other related contracts.
The decision followed the city council’s approval of a resolution during their regular session on April 17.
Councilor Al Victor Espino said the committee would review the enforcement, application, and execution of the city government’s agreement with Bredco, along with any other pertinent agreements related to the company’s reclamation projects.
The committee would ensure that both the city government and Bredco are fulfilling their obligations under these agreements.
According to Espino, the review of these agreements is necessary to verify compliance and to enhance the services and operations of the city’s seaport, ultimately benefiting the public.
