ILOILO City – Two construction workers were arrested in an anti-drug operation in Barangay Nabitasan, La Paz district on Thursday.
Romy Jame Aniceto and Raynold John Bacero were residents of the district’s Barangay Baldoza.
They were caught selling suspected shabu to a poseur buyer for P5,100, police said.
The suspects – tagged “street level” targets – had been under surveillance for two weeks, police added.
They were taken to the La Paz police station around 8:10 p.m.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act would be filed against them./PN
