ILOILO – The Estancia municipal police successfully apprehended the No. 1 most wanted person, both at the municipal and provincial levels, recently.
The arrest of the 26-year-old suspect, a resident of Estancia town, took place in Barangay Poblacion on Tuesday, March 26, due to an outstanding arrest warrant for murder.
No bail has been recommended for the temporary liberty of the accused.
Colonel Ronaldo Palomo, Iloilo’s top cop, commended the diligent efforts of the Estancia municipal police’s tracker team and extended his appreciation to the community for their unwavering support in the campaign against fugitives.
“We shall continue working together until the remaining wanted persons are put behind bars and justice is finally served,” he said./PN
