ILOILO City – A police officer’s service firearm was stolen in Barangay Poblacion, Tibiao, Antique.
The 9mm revolver owned by Alfredo Sumaray – chief of Patnongon, Antique’s police station – was believed to be stolen by a basag kotse gang around 8:20 p.m. on Sunday.
Sumaray left his car parked on a road in Barangay Poblacion while he was having dinner. When he came back, the car’s window was broken and his service firearm was missing, a police report showed.
Officers from the Tibiao municipal police station were still identifying the suspects./PN
