BACOLOD City – A couple died in a motorcycle mishap around 6:30 a.m. on Sunday in Barangay Aguisan, Himamaylan City.
Jayvan Calderon, 20, of Barangay Santol in Binalbagan town and Aira Siatita Amores, 18, of Sitio Punta Talaban, Himamaylan City died on the spot.
Police Inspector Raymundo Franco said the motorcycle driven by Calderon crashed against a mango tree.
Franco added that Calderon probably fell asleep while driving.
The two came from Kabankalan and were on their way home to Binalbagan when the accident happened./PN
