Cuartero’s No. 5 most wanted man falls

CAPIZ – The No. 5 fugitive of Cuartero town was arrested following the service of a warrant of arrest for frustrated murder.

The suspect identified as alias “Joey” was caught around 7:02 a.m. in Pueblo de Panay, Barangay Lawaan, Roxas City, on May 14.

The arrest was carried out by the officers of the Cuartero Municipal Police Station (MPS), together with the Roxas City Police Station and the 2nd Capiz Mobile Force Company (MPFC), under the supervision of Police Colonel Albert D. Tapulao, director of the Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO).

The suspect was detained at the Cuartero MPS pending turnover to the court of origin for further proceedings.

A P200,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary freedom.

This successful operation highlights the CPPO’s intensified campaign against criminality and its ongoing efforts to uphold peace and order in the province.
