ILOILO City – A 30-year-old woman from Barangay Timawa, Molo district reported to the police that her father hurt her.

Lourlia Mae Lumaque claimed that her 60-year-old father Alex threw at her a plastic bottle filled with water and an unripe mango.

The incident at around 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 28 caused bruises on her right shoulder and right thigh, a police report showed.

Her mother Emma and Alex were having an argument at the time, Lumaque said.

She asked them what the problem was but her father got mad at her, she told the police.

Police referred the dispute to the barangay lupon./PN
