ILOILO City – A village councilman found a dead man in Barangay Tahing, Calinog, Iloilo.
According to Alfredo Arcalde, he was on his way to the barangay hall around 4 p.m. on Oct. 10 when he spotted the remains.
Police said the body was already decomposing and the severed head was some two feet away.
“The victim probably died for weeks already,” said Police Lieutenant George Linantod, Calinog deputy police chief.
