BACOLOD City – A body in an advanced state of decomposition was found at a sugarcane field in Hacienda Carmenchica, Barangay DSB, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
The Pontevedra police have yet to identify the victim as of this writing.
Farmer Maricel Parreño Matabuco found the remains of the naked man while he was working at the sugarcane field around 10 a.m. on May 18.
The victim was around 5’7” in height, police added.
Pontevedra police brought the remains to a funeral parlor in the town to undergo a thorough postmortem examination./PN
