DENNIS Trillo and Piolo Pascual bagged national wins for their performances in “Green Bones” and “The Kingdom,” respectively, at the 2025 Asian Academy Creative Awards — with the winners set to compete for the coveted plums at the awarding ceremony in December.
Other notable winners include Jodi Sta. Maria, for her portrayal of a journalist haunted by mysterious souls in “Untold,” which earned her the Best Actress in a Leading Role, while the Julia Montes-led “Saving Grace” won the Best Adaptation of an Existing Format (Scripted) plum.
The 2025 edition of the Asian Academy Creative Awards will honor actors, filmmakers, and creatives from the Asia-Pacific community, which will be selected from the national winners in Asian countries. The ceremony will be held at the Capitol Theatre in Singapore on Dec. 3 and 4.
