NETIZENS noticed that Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis were seemingly removed from Mariel Padilla’s Instagram following list, after the “Darna” actress spoke against Sen. Robin Padilla and the “It’s Showtime” host publicly supported her.
Locsin previously called out Mariel’s husband, reminding him that his loyalty should be to the Filipino people and not to a single person.
Curtis was among the celebrities who praised Locsin for speaking up, with the actress-TV host saying in the comments section, “Welcome back mars, ay Darna pala.”
Robin has yet to publicly comment on the matter as of this writing. Mariel, likewise, has seemingly opted not to address it.
However, speculations that she unfollowed her fellow female celebrities arose after eagle-eyed netizens noticed that the two are no longer on Mariel’s following list despite her frequently seen liking the actresses’ previous posts.
Both Locsin and Curtis still follow Mariel on the platform as of Friday morning, July 17.
