ILOILO City – The city government’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO) will hold a job fair on Jan. 24, 2018 in line with the 50th Dinagyang Festival.
A total of 60 local, overseas and business process outsourcing companies will join the job fair at Robinsons Place Jaro.
“This is one way of helping the Ilonggos in getting a job and bringing the services closer to them at a convenient place like the mall,” said Mayor Jose Espinosa III.
City PESO head Ma. Elena Benitez said most of the job vacancies in local and overseas companies are in service crew and hospitality management.
Some overseas companies are also looking for nurses.
“When they have a job already, they can provide the needs of their family,” said Espinosa.
