PIA Wurtzbach had a “True or False” session with her followers on her Instagram Stories. The Miss Universe 2015 responded to various questions about her physique, her future plans and her relationship during the online Q and A.
One netizen asked Pia if she wants to undergo breast reduction.
Pia answered, “There was a time when I was much younger that I was thinking about it but then hindi ko siya tinuloy kasi nalaman ko na malaki ‘yung mga scars na maiiwan niya so buti na lang.”
The beauty queen added that she also learned to accept and be confident about her body.
“I also realized na ‘di ako dapat magpa-apekto sa mga sinasabi ng ibang tao… so I accepted myself na lang. Be confident with your bodies! I’m glad I didn’t let my insecurities get to me,” she said.
Pia confessed that when she was younger she was insecure about her body because her peers used to tease her but over time she learned to embrace her physique.
“Honestly, siyempre nong bata pa ako na insecure talaga ako sa katawan ko especially dito (chest) kasi siyempre inaasar ako sa school, nahihiya ako pero as I got older, I learned how to be more confident,” she stated. (Push)
