ILOILO City – The Department of Labor and Employment Region 6 reminds COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) beneficiaries to claim their benefit from the Department. Based on records, there are 545 beneficiaries which are yet to claim their financial assistance from M Luilhuier, DOLE 6’s remittance service provider.
Director Cyril Ticao, regional director of DOLE 6 confirmed that over 2.7 million pesos in financial assistance is yet to be claimed by CAMP beneficiaries.
“Gapanawagan kami sa mga beneficiaries nga kuhaon na nila ang ila benepisyo. Madamo sang nagareklamo nga wala makakuha sang bulig halin sa gobyerno apang nakibot man kami nga madamo pa gid gali ang wala nagkuha sang nakapertinisir na sa ila nga bulig,” Ticao said.
CAMP beneficiaries with unclaimed benefits are advised to email a scanned copy of their government-issued ID and updated contact number at dole6camp2@gmail.com in order for their claims to be released.
CAMP is a safety net program that offered financial support to affected workers in private establishments that have adopted Flexible Working Arrangements (FWAs) or temporary closure during the COVID-19 pandemic. It provided a one-time financial assistance equivalent to P5,000 to affected employees./PN
