BACOLOD City – A driver was arrested at the headquarters of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) after a sachet of suspected shabu fell from his pocket.
Police identified the arrested as 34-year-old Willy Satoc, a resident of Barangay Mandalagan in this city.
Satoc was at the BCPO headquarters on Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 20, to get his driver’s license which was confiscated by the Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO) for a traffic infraction.
Prior to letting him through, Patrolman Johnrey Mongcal asked Satoc to show his citation ticket, and as the suspect was trying to get the ticket inside his pocket, a sachet of suspected shabu fell off.
Mongcal arrested Satoc on the spot for possession of illegal drugs.
The seized suspected shabu weighed 0.5 grams and valued at P500.
A background check on Satoc also revealed he was arrested for an illegal drugs charge back in 2013 but the case was dismissed./PN
