Drunken men on stabbing spree injure 4 persons

BACOLOD City – Four individuals were seriously injured. Two drunken men stabbed them in Talisay City, Negros Occidental.

The victims were the 24-year-old Lloyd Dandoy, 23-year-old Nestor Apura, 29-year-old Gerald Yandog, and Frankie Tribaco, police said.

The victims were attending to a car joining a sound showdown at Paseo De Mabini in Barangay 12 around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday when the two suspects attacked them.

The victims sustained stab wounds on the different parts of their bodies.

They were all rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City for treatment.

The suspects were only identified as alias “Ebok” and “Sendong.” They fled after the stabbing, said witnesses.

As of this writing the police were still hunting the suspects.

The incident happened as Talisay was marking its annual patronal fiesta.

The crime scene was 300 meters away from the Talisay City police station./PN
