MANILA — President Rodrigo Duterte once again lashed out at dismissed Iloilo City mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog.
Mabilog left the country on Aug. 31, 2017. His exact whereabouts remained unknown.
Duterte has been repeatedly tagging Mabilog to the illegal drug trade ever since naming him as a “drug protector” in August 2016.
“Hindi na siya umuwi kasi papatayin ko talaga siya,” Duterte said during a speech in Tarlac on Wednesday.
The President said he has been looking for the former city mayor.
In October 2017 the Office of the Ombudsman ordered the dismissal of Mabilog from the public service over his questionable wealth.
Mabilog got another dismissal order just this January over a towing services contract./PN
