ELIJAH Canlas has set the record straight: he did not cheat on Miles Ocampo.
In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Elijah denied the cheating allegations and said they were not the reason for his breakup with Miles.
“It’s not true. Miles would know it’s not true,” the actor said. “There’s no third party involved.”
Elijah also said that he doesn’t want to come across as defensive, which is why he rarely addresses the cheating allegations.
“Even when press people ask, I try not to say that, but that’s the truth,” he said in mixed English and Filipino. “There is no cheating involved.”
“But I love her so much, and I have experienced being cheated on, so I wouldn’t do that, especially to her,” he added in Filipino.
In the same interview, Elijah confirmed his split with Miles, ending their five-year relationship.
The two confirmed their relationship in May 2022 and broke up in 2023.
A year later, the two were reportedly back together after being spotted at various events. (GMA News)
