BACOLOD City – A 65-year-old man was shot in his house in the hinterland barangay of Dian-ay in Escalante City, Negros Occidental.
Warlito Pabuaya died of multiple gunshot wounds, a police report showed.
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. on Oct. 6. As of this writing, the gunman remained unidentified.
Police was only informed by the victim’s relatives of the crime the next day.
From what the Escalante City police gathered so far, the victim and his wife were preparing dinner when a gunman barged into the house and peppered Pabuaya with bullets.
Pabuaya’s wife was left unharmed.
Police have yet to determine the motive in the killing./PN
