ILOILO City – Police arrested a woman charged with estafa in Barangay Quezon, Arevalo district.
Officers served the 38-year-old Jo Ann Abadiano a warrant of arrest in her house Monday, a police report showed.
Judge Meliza Joan Berano Robite of the Municipal Trial Court issued the warrant.
The court set the bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty at P6,000, stated the police report.
The Arevalo police took Abadiano to their station after her arrest at 12:30 p.m.
It was not immediately clear as of this writing if the suspect has posted bail./PN
