ILOILO – The local government unit (LGU) of Estancia is offering a P30,000 reward to whoever could provide vital information leading to the identification, arrest and prosecution of the killer a seven-year-old girl in Barangay Gogo, Estancia on Dec. 19.
According to Mayor Mary Lynn Mosqueda, tipsters should coordinate with the Estancia police station through cellphone numbe, 0998-967-3740.
“Mag-surrender ka na lang. Maluoy ka. Hatagi hustisya ang bata ko. Palangga ko ina nga bata, mabuot ina kag anghel. Konsensyahon ka sang bata ko,” said the victim’s father in an interview with Zarraga News Live Station.
The girl was found dead near a cell site in Barangay Gogo. She had bruises on her right eye and an injury at the back of her head, possibly struck by a hard object.
According to Police Staff Sergeant Dan Jerald Allanic of the Estancia police, the girl was last seen alive at 4 p.m. on Monday last week asking for P5 from her mother to buy bread.
Around 5 p.m., the girl’s parents became worried; their daughter failed to come home.
“Sirum na pag-abot sang magulang niya sa balay (but the victim) wala gid ‘ya gyapon. Amo to nataranta na kami kag ginpinangita namon siya, asta may naghambal sa amon nga nakita na siya pero patay na,” said the father./PN
