ILOILO City – A laptop estimated to be worth P31,829 and cash amounting to P10,145 were lost in a robbery at the municipal treasurer’s office of Estancia, Iloilo.
The robbery was discovered on Tuesday by Sheree Anne Pagayonan, 34, and Melende Abarquez, 46, municipal government employee who reported to work around 8 a.m.
The suspect was identified as a certain “Dan-Dan.”
Police said he was caught on a closed-circuit television around 11 p.m. on Monday climbing a coconut tree and breaking the glass window of the office.
Officers of the Estancia police station have yet to arrest the suspect as of this writing./PN
