BACOLOD City – Two vintage explosives were recovered in Hacienda Fe, Barangay Batuan, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
A certain Antaran found the explosives at the sugarcane field 38 and 39 while installing a water sprinkler at about 1 p.m. on Jan. 25, police said.
Jerry Naluis, a roving field guard of ECJ Farm, alerted the police.
The area was cordoned by the local police and the explosive ordnance disposal unit of the Negros Occidental police office was called to safely retrieve the explosives./PN
