ILOILO City – One was stabbed to death while another was wounded during a family feud on Sunday, Oct. 9, in Barangay Flores, City Proper district.
Wilven Janayon of Rizal Pala-Pala, City Proper died of a fatal stab wound to the left side of his body.
His uncle, Pedro Janayon, was taken to the Iloilo Doctors’ Hospital for treatment.
Jorex Janayon, brother of Wilven, was tagged as the suspect.
According to Iloilo City Police Station 1 (ICPS-1) chief, Police Major Shella Mae Sangrines, the incident happened around 2 p.m. while the three were in their kiosk having a drinking session.
The victims reportedly bullied the suspect, who subsequently stabbed them, Sangrines said.
“Ang mga biktima hubog, pero ang suspect indi sya hubog. Gina-bully nila ang suspect, that’s why na-impito siguro,” the police station chief said.
