ILOILO City – His fellow farmer shot him to death, police said.
Rocky Nepumuceno of Barangay Malapaya, Sara, Iloilo died of gunshot wounds on the different parts of the body, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspect as Rhale Are, also a resident of Malapaya.
The incident happened around 6 a.m. on Thursday, the report stated.
Nepumuceno was walking on his way to a farm when the suspect waylaid him and started peppering him with bullets using a .38-caliber revolver.
It was not immediately clear what the motive in the shooting was.
