BACOLOD City – A farmer was injured in a shooting incident in Barangay Camindangan, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified him as resident Renante Porle, who sustained gunshot wounds on the chest.
According to police investigation, Porle was on his way home from his farm when resident Warly Lumanog shot him around 7 a.m. on May 18.
Porle was brought to the Kabankalan District Hospital for medical treatment.
It was not immediately established what was the motive in the shooting.
Officers of the Sipalay City police station conducted a manhunt operation against Lumanog, who fled after the incident./PN
