ILOILO City – A food delivery rider was gravely injured after his motorcycle crashed into a private vehicle along Sunset Boulevard in Arevalo district yesterday, February 27.
The motorcycle-riding Jonazardo Manipula Abong, 26, of Barangay Sooc, Arevalo, was crossing the road when the accident happened.
Police reports indicate that a private vehicle, driven by a female university student with a male classmate as a passenger, was heading toward Oton, Iloilo when it collided with Abong’s motorcycle in the middle of the road.
Police added that the private vehicle was running at high speed.
The victim sustained a severe head injury and was in critical condition at The Medical City./PN
