BACOLOD City — Four couples exchanged vows during a mass wedding ceremony organized by the Police Regional Office–Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR) on February 20, at Saint Michael the Archangel Chapel inside Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano Sr. in Barangay Estefania here.
The ceremony was officiated by Police Brigadier General Jaime C. Seriña III, director of the Philippine National Police Chaplain Service, who solemnized the marriages of police personnel and their partners in a church rite witnessed by fellow officers, families, and friends.
Also present was Police Brigadier General Arnold Thomas C. Ibay, regional director of PRO-NIR, along with members of the command group, regional and personal staff, and other police personnel.
The mass wedding formed part of the regional office’s welfare program aimed at supporting the personal and family life of its personnel. It highlighted the organization’s recognition of the vital role of strong family foundations in fostering disciplined and service-oriented officers.
Beyond marking a personal milestone for the couples, the ceremony underscored the police organization’s continuing efforts to promote moral values, unity, and stability within its ranks.
