MANILA — Farm Fresh Foxies pulled off a stunning reverse sweep against Choco Mucho Flying Titans, storming back from a two-set deficit to snatch a dramatic 20-25, 26-28, 25-23, 25-23, 15-13 victory in the PVL 2026-27 All-Filipino Conference Siklab Series on Thursday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Facing the prospect of a straight-set defeat, the Foxies mounted a remarkable fightback, surviving two tightly contested sets before prevailing in a nerve-wracking fifth frame to hand the Flying Titans their first loss of the conference.

The come-from-behind triumph improved Farm Fresh’s record to 2-1, putting the Foxies on equal footing with Choco Mucho in the early tournament standings.

Mylene Rezanova anchored the Foxies’ balanced offensive assault with 15 points, while Trisha Tubu contributed 14 markers. Honey Royce Tubino chipped in 12 points, and Jonna Perdido added 11.

Choco Mucho appeared headed for its third consecutive victory after capturing the opening set, 25-20, and surviving a tightly contested second frame, 28-26, to move within one set of sweeping the match.

But Farm Fresh refused to fold.

The Foxies clawed their way back with consecutive 25-23 victories in the third and fourth sets, turning what initially looked like a comfortable Choco Mucho triumph into a winner-take-all showdown.

Carrying the momentum of their comeback, the Foxies held their nerve in the deciding frame to complete the stunning turnaround, 15-13.

Cherry Ann Rosales paced the Flying Titans with a match-high 22 points, while Ejiya Laure contributed 18 markers in the losing effort.

Meanwhile, Nxled Chameleons maintained their unbeaten run and grabbed the provisional lead in the standings after overpowering Galeries Tower Highrisers, 25-16, 22-25, 25-17, 25-19.

The Chameleons shrugged off a second-set setback to register their third consecutive victory and improve to a perfect 3-0 record, while the Highrisers remained winless in three matches.

Jonah Sabete-Escamillan powered Nxled’s offense with 22 points built on 18 attacks, three blocks and one service ace. She also contributed nine excellent receptions.

MarJana Phillips provided additional firepower with 16 points, while Brooke Van Sickle delivered an all-around performance with 12 points and 13 excellent digs.

The victory strengthened Nxled’s early position in the conference as the Chameleons continued to establish themselves among the tournament’s leading contenders./PN
