
MANILA – Oil firms on Monday announced another hike in pump prices of petroleum products, marking the fifth straight week of increases for gasoline, tenth for diesel, and fourth for kerosene.
In separate advisories, Chevron Philippines Incorporated (Caltex), Flying V, Petron Corporation, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation, and Seaoil Philippines Incorporated, said they will increase prices per liter of gasoline by P0.75, diesel by P0.70, and kerosene by P0.70.
Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc., PTT Philippines Corp., Total Philippines Corp., and Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc. will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which they do not carry.
The changes will take effect at 6 a.m. today, except for Cleanfuel, which will adjust prices at 4:01 p.m., and Caltex at 12:01 a.m. the same day.
Latest data from the Department of Energy showed that year-to-date adjustments stand at a net increase of P9.50 per liter for kerosene, P8.15 per liter for diesel, and kerosene at P6.70 per liter as of June 15, 2021.(GMA News)
