Gasoline, kerosene pump prices down, diesel up today

MOTORISTS will see mixed movements in pump prices this week, as fuel retailers announced rollbacks for gasoline and kerosene and a hike for diesel on Monday.

Below are the price adjustments announced by oil firms so far:

* gasoline: -P4.30

* diesel: +P2.60

* kerosene: -P1

The adjustments will take effect at 6 a.m. today, October 20.

Other firms have yet to make similar announcements for the week as of this writing.

The movements are in line with projections made by an oil industry source last week, citing low global diesel inventories and improving gasoline availability.

Firms last week hiked prices per liter of gasoline by P1.56 and kerosene by P1.77, and rolled back diesel by P3.01.

This brought year-to-date adjustments to a net increase of P71.59 per liter for gasoline, P64.83 per liter for diesel, and P61.99 per liter for kerosene as of October 12, 2026. (GMA News)
