ILOILO City – A 15-year-old girl claimed she was raped in Mandurriao district and two of her four male attackers were minors.

The rape happened on the night of Jan. 25 in the house of one of the suspects, the girl told the City Social Welfare and Development Office that took custody of her.

The suspects were not strangers to the girl; they were her binge drinking buddies.

The girl said she passed out and found herself already naked when she woke up.

She claimed to have heard someone said, “Bulos-bulosi nyo bala himuslan” before she lost consciousness.

The Iloilo City Police Office would be investigating the girl’s claim, said Senior Inspector Shella Mae Sangrines, chief of the Women and Children’s Desk.

“We have to investigate before filing a complaint. This is a sensitive issue,” said Sangrines.

She declined to identify the girl and the four suspects that the girl named./PN
