GUIMARAS – The province of Guimaras has the least vaccination target for the five to 11 years old in the whole Region 6, based on the Department of Health (DOH) -6 date, the province has only 24,354 target population for five to eleven years old.
Here are the target population of provinces and highly urbanized cities in Region-6 for 5 to 11 years old.

In the whole of Region-6, there are a total of 1,080,597 5 to 11 years old kids are targeted to be vaccinated.
According to Dr. Renilyn Reyes, DOH-6 Public Health Development Program Cluster (PHDPC) head, the tentative date for the vaccination roll out for kids 5 to 11 years old in region 6 will be on Feb. 14 using a reformulated Pfizer vaccine.
Vaccination for 5-11 years old can be availed at the designated vaccination sites of the local government units (LGUs).
To be vaccinated parents or guardians will prepare documents that are needed, such as:
Original copy of the birth certificate and secondary identification cards like an authenticated medical certificate of the childbearing name of the parent, issued by hospital or DOH; baptismal certificate of the child with the name of the parent/s; school ID or records of the child; PHIC, SSS, GSIS forms, insurance policies, health card membership life or memorial plans, etc. indicating that the vaccine recipient is a beneficiary and a child of the parent; barangay certification issued by the Brgy. Captain indicating that the parent/s and the child are personally known and attested by one (1) another witness who personally knows that child and the parents; Solo Parent ID from the C/MSWDO; Court Decree of Adoption, in case the child is adopted; PWD ID of the child; and other public documents issued by the Office of the Civil Registrar General.
Parents and guardians should note also the expected side effects after vaccination like pain at the vaccination site, fatigue, headache, and fever.
Side effects usually resolve within 24-48 hours.
In the vaccination venue, there will be a post-vaccination corner wherein recipients shall stay for post-vaccination monitoring in case of any severe allergic reaction and anaphylaxis and immediate treatment. /PN
