ILOILO – The family of Guimbal’s Mayor Oscar “Oca” Garin Sr. asked for prayers from the public for his speedy recovery.
“To my fellow Guimbalanons, our Tatay, my own Tatay, is confined in the hospital. Asking for your prayers,” Vice Mayor Jennifer Colada wrote on Facebook.
Colada did not disclose the reason for her father’s hospitalization.
Former 1st District congressman Richard Garin, meanwhile, posted on Facebook that their father was “a strong leader, but your prayers at this moment will make him even stronger.”
“Lord, heal Tatay of his sickness, clear his lungs, touch him now in the areas of his body that need most of your healing love,” he wrote over the weekend.
“Tatay Oca, may father, is experiencing symptoms. We ask for your prayers. We appeal for privacy, while doctors are assessing his condition. Kaya ra ni tatay, boss Oca pa!” Richard added.
Meanwhile, AAMBIS-Owa’s Rep. Sharon Garin thanked the public for the regards.
“Damo guid nga salamat, our family is truly and wholeheartedly grateful,” she stated.
