ILOILO City – A drunken man was caught for illegal possession of firearm in Barangay Fulgencio, Balete, Aklan.
The 40-year-old resident Yrel Fernandez yielded a .45-caliber pistol with several live bullets, police said.
Officers of the Balete police station immediately responded to the information provided by a concerned citizen, who saw Leal carrying a firearm around 6 p.m. on Nov. 2.
Leal was detained and charged for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
