ILOILO – Police were still locating the suspect in the hacking incident in Barangay Dabong, Janiuay.
The victim, identified as “Arnel,” a 45-year-old farmer and resident of the barangay, was allegedly attacked following a misunderstanding during a drinking session with the bolo-wielding suspect and fellow farmer “Narciso.”
Arnel was taken to Janiuay District Hospital for treatment, while the suspect fled in an unknown direction.
The Janiuay Municipal Police Station has launched a hot pursuit operation./PN
