ANTIQUE – A resident of Barangay Masanag, Hamtic town was shot dead by unidentified gunmen.
Simon “Kapid” Managuit, 40, was found near his house around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14.
He was brought to the Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital in San Jose de Buenavista town but was declared dead on arrival.
Residents told the Hamtic municipal police they heard five gunshots and saw three men in bonnets.
The police investigation is ongoing.
